Dear Parents (and future parents):
Please, for the love of God, learn to trust your children. We know you care, of course, but too much care to the point of us not being to do things by ourselves or not trusting us enough is a fucking insult.
Seriously, we have a fucking brain. If we screwed up at something, then at least we’ve learned a lesson and we’ve learned the hard way. Stop pulling your children away from the world to prevent them from making mistakes. Instead, encourage them to experiment, explore the world on their own, even if that means making mistakes and hurting themselves in the process. Let them learn.
I’m not saying you leave them alone. Just give them space to learn BY THEMSELVES. They do have a brain, right?
This applies not just to small children, but to people of all ages.
Anyway, out of topic. Listen to this song and share. This band deserves more views! (There’s nothing between the MV and what I’ve written btw. Just thought about this)
